    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The GAZ-AA originated from the Soviet licensed production of the Ford Model AA starting in 1932. Rubicon describes the GAZ-AA as an almost exact copy of the Ford-AA with a 1,500 kg payload. The three-axle GAZ-AAA was a further development of the two-axle GAZ-AA and was produced from 1934 to 1943. Besides its role as a truck, the GAZ-AAA also served as the basis for ambulances, mobile workshops, anti-aircraft platforms, and the BA-6 and BA-10 armored cars.

    The GAZ-AA/AAA is a Soviet truck for resupply and troop transport. In the game, it complements infantry or artillery lists with affordable mobility. It is particularly well-suited thematically for Eastern Front scenarios.
