    The M3/M3A1 Half-Track is a plastic model kit of an Allied armoured personnel carrier in 1/56 scale. The kit contains 55 parts on 2 sprues, build options for M3 or M3A1, as well as a driver and passenger figures.

    Historically, the M3 Half-track was a widely used US transporter, also supplied to British Commonwealth and Soviet troops. In tabletop gaming, it serves as a classic troop transport for motorized Allied forces.

    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The M3 Half-track was an American armored personnel carrier of World War II. It was based on the shorter M2 Half Track Car and was built in large numbers; approximately 15,000 M3s and more than 50,000 derived variants were produced. The vehicle was used by the US Army and US Marines and was also supplied to British Commonwealth and Soviet forces. Due to its combination of transport capacity, light armor, and armed mobility, it served as a versatile front-line transporter in many theaters of war.
