Low remnants of wall from Stalingrad, just 2 cm tall and 80 cm long in total, free to lay out as you like. They offer hard cover without blocking sight and come with a movable gate. All parts are already painted.

Background & context

Where houses had been destroyed down to their foundations, often only knee-high wall stumps, plinths and garden walls remained. Under General Chuikov, Soviet troops made a point of staying as close as possible to the German lines, so that German aircraft and artillery could not strike without endangering their own men. In this no man's land between the positions, every low wall was valuable cover.

On the tabletop

Behind these low walls your riflemen sit in cover yet keep a clear field of fire over the top. Because they do not block sight, they work well as a forward firing position in front of a building or along a street. The gate can be opened and closed during the game. Combined with taller ruins they create a layered defence across several levels.
