Product details

Background & context

From autumn 1942, air raids and artillery turned the centre of Stalingrad into a field of rubble. The burnt-out apartment blocks became strongpoints: Soviet assault groups and German infantry often fought at close quarters, sometimes floor against floor in the same building. Holding a multi-storey block meant controlling the surrounding streets and watching movement far across the city.

On the tabletop

In Bolt Action you place an infantry squad across the three floors of this ruin and cover the street in front from above. The interiors stay accessible, so every floor can be fought over during the game. At 17.7 cm tall, the front towers over lower ruins and walls. Add the separately available Apartment Block Back to close it into a complete block.
