Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

In Pike & Shotte, gendarmes are the heavy shock cavalry of the French nobility. The three riders wear full armour and carry lances; they are meant for the massed charge, not for a long exchange of fire. Their charge hits hardest against enemies that have already taken losses and far less hard against deep blocks of pikes. With the command pack of leader and trumpeter you can expand the unit for the French Wars of Religion.
