Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Mounted arquebusiers are light cavalry in Pike & Shotte that fight with firearms. Deploy the three metal riders on a flank, where they stay mobile, shoot at range and avoid close combat. They achieve little against dense blocks of pikes, but a great deal against unprotected shot, the baggage train and enemy scouts. In the French Wars of Religion of the later 16th century they complement gendarmes and foot troops.
