Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

These four command figures lead a unit of Wallachian Voynik infantry in Pike & Shotte, which you can field in your Ottoman army or in a Wallachian army. Under Vlad III Wallachia fought the Sultan, and later, as a tributary vassal, it had to provide men for him. Voynuks served as Christian foot soldiers in the Ottoman army in return for exemption from taxes and often also looked after the army's baggage and horses. The figures are metal.
