Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Eight Voynik foot soldiers represent Wallachian infantry in Pike & Shotte, which after the wars of Vlad III had to supply troops to the Ottoman Empire as a vassal. In return for military service the Voyniks, a hereditary class, paid no taxes. Use them as regular foot in an Ottoman army or as a local levy in scenarios on the Danube frontier. Several packs make a larger division.
