The Waffen-SS Weapons Teams for 1943-1945 include six Warlord Resin Plus figures for three specialist teams. Included are a Sniper Team, Panzerschreck Team, and Flamethrower Team, along with plastic bases and three order dice.

Models are supplied unpainted and unassembled and can augment Rifle, Engineer, or Heavy Weapons Platoons.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

Special teams significantly increased the tactical flexibility of German infantry units. Panzerschreck teams provided portable anti-tank capabilities, snipers could threaten leadership personnel and specialists, and flamethrowers were primarily used against strongpoints and buildings. Such teams became particularly important in the later war, as infantry units increasingly had to fight at close quarters against tanks and fortified positions. The portrayal of the Waffen-SS remains historically fraught and should be contextualized objectively.

Einsatz im Spiel

The Weapons Teams bring specialised roles to a 1943 to 1945 Waffen-SS force. The Panzerschreck team threatens vehicles, the Sniper disrupts key enemy models, and the Flamethrower team is great for assaulting positions or buildings. In Bolt Action and Chain of Command, the set adds short, sharp hitting power to an infantry list.
