    Product details

    Background & context

Huscarls were elite warriors closely tied to a ruler or leader. They are often associated with personal loyalty, good equipment, and extensive combat experience. In tabletop representation, they serve as a sturdy close-combat core or personal bodyguard. This blister pack is particularly suitable for expanding a Hird or elite formation.

    On the tabletop

Huscarls lived in the household of their king or jarl and stood by him even at the cost of their own lives. Pack B brings six more of these warriors in new poses for Hail Caesar, SAGA or Pillage. Mixed with pack A they form an elite group without repeated figures, which you place beside your leader. For the period after 1016 they also suit the household troops of Cnut the Great in England.
