Product details

Background & context

The Willys MB, simply the jeep to the soldiers, was built in more than 600,000 examples together with the identical Ford GPW. Reconnaissance units often fitted an air-cooled .30 calibre Browning M1919 on a pedestal between the seats. That turned the light utility vehicle into a fast car for scouting and screening, unarmoured and relying entirely on speed.

On the tabletop

If your jeep carries a .30 cal machine gun, this figure gives it a gunner caught in the middle of a burst. Armed jeeps serve in Bolt Action for reconnaissance and fast thrusts, and with driver and gunner aboard the vehicle looks properly crewed in action. Pair him with the US driver from the same range. He suits American forces from North Africa through Italy to North West Europe.
