The US Army was one of the best-equipped armed forces in the world during World War II. From the USA's entry into the war in 1941, GIs fought German and Italian units in North Africa, Italy, and finally in Northwestern Europe. The uniforms and equipment in this set cover the operational areas from 1941 to 1945 and are suitable for battles from the Mediterranean to the German border.

The US Army Starter Army provides the complete foundation of a 1000-point force for Bolt Action. With an HQ squad, two infantry sections, a machine gun team, a mortar team, and supporting vehicles, a flexible, textbook US list can be fielded immediately. Ideal for beginners who want to experience the American playstyle with a balanced combination of infantry firepower and vehicle mobility. In Chain of Command, the contents can be used for historically accurate US platoons in the European theater.
