Product details

Background & context

The M2A1 105mm Howitzer was one of the most important weapons in the US Army during World War II. The guns were used to engage infantry, vehicles, or fortified positions from a distance. In a tabletop context, the model represents medium field artillery and adds a clearly recognizable support role to armies.

On the tabletop

The M2A1 was the standard howitzer of American divisional artillery. On the table you use it to lay down a barrage that prepares your infantry's advance or breaks up an enemy attack. In Bolt Action it joins the artillery platoon as a medium howitzer and can be towed by a half-track. Four metal crew figures and a laser-cut oval MDF base measuring 120 x 92 mm are included.
