    Background & context

    On the tabletop

From these three figures you build the headquarters of your American army in Bolt Action, an officer with attendants who keep the orders flowing behind the firing line. In the game your officer steadies wavering squads and gets them moving again with his orders. Historically an American platoon depended on a handful of men who assessed the situation, called in fire support and kept the squads moving.
