Product details

Background & context

The M1919A4 .30 Cal was the most widely used medium machine gun by US forces in World War II, accompanying American soldiers on virtually all theaters of war - from North Africa and Western Europe to the Pacific. Its air-cooled design made it a reliable support weapon at platoon and company level. In the Korean War, the .30 caliber also continued to play a central role in providing fire support for American and Allied forces.

On the tabletop

In Bolt Action the Browning M1919A4 is the US Army's medium machine gun, shown here with a crew of three in firing positions. On its tripod the team closes roads, forest rides or open ground with sustained fire. Place it behind cover with a clear view of the routes enemy infantry has to advance along. Together with a mortar it provides your platoon's fire support.
