    Product details

    Background & context

While the Axis in Konflikt '47 relies on wolf blood, the Soviet Union turns to the Siberian brown bear. A serum enhanced by the Rifts and captured German research papers fuse man and animal into a soldier who goes through trenches like an excavator. Ursus operate in small squads, because more of them would be almost impossible to control. The maul variant came about when it became clear that claws slip off the armour of walkers and heavy infantry, and a steel head on a shaft does not slip.

    On the tabletop

Three Ursus with mauls give your Soviet bear soldiers in Konflikt '47 extra force against armoured opponents. The mauls add to the Ursus' already great strength to the point where even heavily armoured targets become vulnerable. You therefore use them against heavy infantry and other well-protected units, while the clawed Ursus deal with ordinary infantry. Like all Ursus they fight in small squads.
