    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Roberta Wells is a physicist who dedicated her research to Rift energy after the Los Alamos Rift appeared during the Trinity Test. When the first Totenkorps arrived on the European battlefield in late 1944 during the Conflict '47 universe, she volunteered for frontline service - despite initial resistance from the US Army. Her pragmatism and psychological resilience amidst the horrors of the Rift War distinguished her from other scientific advisors. In 1947, she returns to the 109th Airborne Division with a prototype power armor, including a Firefly jump pack, with the goal of studying and, if possible, neutralizing the Dresden Rift.
