The advent of heavy armour and light walkers severely tested the anti-armour capabilities of conventional infantry. The US answer was a heavier version of the tried and tested Bazooka - capable of taking on heavily armoured infantry and light walkers. An essential team for any US army force facing walker threats.

Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the '47 conflict setting, the classic US bazooka quickly reached its limits: The new heavy Axis walkers and tanks were almost impossible to damage with standard rockets. The American engineers' answer was an enlarged variant with a hollow-charge projectile similar to the German Panzerschreck. The weapon was too heavy for regular infantry, but it perfectly suited the new Heavy Infantry formations, which could easily handle the extra weight. Resilient and equipped with a Super Bazooka, the team reliably decides walker and tank duels in their favor.

Einsatz im Spiel

The US Heavy Bazooka Team is the heavily armored anti-tank variant: two soldiers in power armor with the 'Super Bazooka' anti-tank launcher. In the game, the team acts as anti-tank support for US Armored Infantry lists, supplementing standard AT options and able to get closer to targets thanks to power armor. Tactical use: Position in cover with a good line of sight to approaching Walkers or tanks; the team can survive return fire due to heavy armor.
