Product details

Background & context

A Totenrotte is not a force you raise but one you keep feeding forward. Its core is the Totenkorps: the fallen who march again after contact with the serum, slowly, without any instinct for cover and in numbers no regular battalion can muster. They are led by a few living officers who keep the mass moving. For the Axis the calculation is simple: whatever the enemy produces in dead can be turned against him.

On the tabletop

Here numbers decide: you split the 45 Totenkorps into several large squads that push slowly but in close order across the table and hold objectives through sheer numbers. The Platoon Commander with his 2 bodyguards forms the HQ and stays close behind the undead. With the two walkers you commit yourself when building: each becomes a Nachtzehrer or an Infernospinne, and a mixed pair works too. In the second wave they clean up wherever the Totenkorps have tied down the enemy. With 8 Order Dice you have dice for the HQ, both walkers and several squads.
