    Background & context

    Nach dem Waffenstillstand 1940 standen tausende französische Fahrzeuge in deutschen Depots. Die Halbkettenzugmaschine Unic P107 bekam die Bezeichnung U304(f) und wurde je nach Bedarf zum Mannschaftswagen, zum Zugmittel oder eben zum Waffenträger umgebaut. Die 3,7-cm-PaK 36 war gegen moderne Panzer schon längst zu schwach, in den Depots des Westens aber reichlich vorhanden. Solche Mischungen prägten die Besatzungsdivisionen bis 1944.

    On the tabletop

    This improvised tank hunter of the German occupation troops in the west combined a captured French half-track tractor with a 3.7 cm PaK 36. The small gun is enough against light vehicles but too weak for modern tanks. Use the vehicle's mobility: fire from cover, then change position. It suits games set in France up to 1944, and two crew figures are included.
