Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Eight armoured swordsmen with round shields represent a special force of the Thirty Years' War in Pike & Shotte. Such men served as colour guard for a regiment or fought in specially formed storming parties meant to get under the pike points into the press. You therefore send the unit against pike blocks that are already locked in melee. An extra arm with a pistol gives one figure an additional weapon.
