Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The Takeda from the mountain province of Kai were regarded as the most feared cavalry power of their age, until they failed against entrenched arquebusiers at Nagashino in 1575. Their mon comes here on two sheets in black and white. On curved sashimono a decal softener helps the crest settle into folds and look painted on. You can mark Shingen's riders for Kawanakajima as well as Katsuyori's army at Nagashino.
