    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The red coats of the Swiss stood out clearly against the white of the French line, and their reputation for holding their ground had an effect of its own. In Black Powder you deploy the 19 firing musketeers with officer, NCO, musician and two colours as a steady line, for example on a flank that must be held. With the marching musketeers and the grenadiers of the Swiss Guard you build a whole Swiss regiment for the early Revolutionary Wars.
