    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    As the Soviet fleet had few opportunities for open-sea operations in World War II, large parts of the naval crews were redeployed to combat units at the front. These soldiers often retained their distinctive dark uniforms and striped undershirts, the so-called telnyashka. The naval brigades thus formed fought on several fronts and earned a reputation as tenacious and fearless fighters. The German enemy coined the term "Black Death" for these units-a testament to the respect the marines earned through their fighting spirit.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    Complete HQ section for a Naval Brigade formation - Officer, NCO with unit flag, radio operator, and medic. In Bolt Action, the set fills most HQ slots simultaneously (Lieutenant + Medic + Forward Observer). In Chain of Command, it serves as a Platoon HQ, including a standard bearer for morale bonuses.
