    Product details

    Background & context

Between two attacks, war consisted of waiting. In the dugouts of the Eastern Front, tea was brewed, foot wraps were dried, tobacco was rolled in newspaper, and men slept wherever it was dry. The quilted jacket served as a blanket. Showing this waiting on the gaming table gives you scenes that no combat model can provide - a group around a fire, a sentry on a row of crates.

    On the tabletop

These three Red Army men in winter clothing are not fighting; they stand together, warm themselves and take a break. They let you build scenes away from the firing line, such as a sentry outside a dugout, a group around a fire or a resting place in a ruin. In a scenario they mark a camp or an objective that the enemy attacks by surprise. The pewter figures suit any snow-covered table on the Eastern Front and also liven up the edges of larger bases.
