    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The air-cooled SG43 on its small wheeled mount replaced the heavy Maxim from 1943 and accompanies your Red Army in Bolt Action here with three assault engineers as crew. As a medium machine gun it covers your engineers' advance by keeping the windows and positions opposite under fire. This lets demolition teams and flamethrowers get close to fortified buildings. The team also matches the assault engineers in body armour visually.
