Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Sir Edmund Verney carries the royal standard of your Royalist army in Pike & Shotte. On the table you place him with your commander-in-chief or make the standard an objective that the fight revolves around. Historically Verney fell beside Charles I at Edgehill in 1642, and it is said that only his hand was found, still gripping the staff. Yet he disagreed with the court's religious policy, and his son joined Parliament. The figure is metal.
