Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Sir Arthur Haselrig leads his heavily armoured cuirassiers, the London Lobsters, for your Parliamentarian army in Pike & Shotte. On the table he belongs at the head of your heavy cavalry, probably the last unit to fight in full armour on English soil. At Lansdown and Roundway Down in 1643 the armour paid off at first, until the Royalists started aiming at the unprotected horses, both fitting scenarios. The mounted figure is metal.
