    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The M4A3 with the 75 mm gun is the Sherman the US Army itself preferred, with a Ford petrol engine and built in large numbers from 1943. Its gun was no tank killer, but it fired useful high-explosive shells, which is what the infantry needed most of the time. In Bolt Action it is therefore the standard tank of your US list, accompanying squads as they advance and shelling positions. It fought through 1945 and later in Korea, and Achtung Panzer! covers it too.
