Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

This frame gun has four barrels, one of the patterns Scottish armies fielded alongside single and double-barrelled pieces. Such guns were towed by mules, loaded onto carts or carried in pieces, so they arrived where heavy artillery got stuck. Firing round shot or hail shot, they kept up a quick rate of fire. In Pike & Shotte you set it right among your Covenanter infantry.
