    Background & context

    On the tabletop

Version B of the SAS desert jeep also carries one heavy MG to the front and three light ones to the rear, and in Bolt Action it keeps enemy infantry pinned under heavy fire. It has hardly any armour, so speed and the reconnaissance special rule have to protect it. Together with version A you can build a small raiding group. The inspiration is the raid on Sidi Haneish airfield in July 1942, when SAS jeeps drove across the airfield in two columns firing at the parked aircraft.
