Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

As a medium field gun, the saker sat between the light falconets and the heavy siege pieces. In Pike & Shotte you place it with its four gunners behind your line and engage enemy pike blocks at range. Its actual damage was often slight, but the blow to enemy morale was all the greater. The crew can be painted for any army of the 17th century.
