Product details

Background & context

Supply was one of the greatest problems of the Continental Army. Food, powder and equipment had to travel over poor roads on carts and wagons, many of them hired or requisitioned from farmers. In the winter camp at Valley Forge in 1777/78 the troops suffered partly because wagons and draught animals were lacking. On the British side, long supply lines also tied up large numbers of vehicles.

On the tabletop

Park the carts along roadsides, in farm gateways or next to a camp so the scene shows supply and everyday life. As a scenario objective they give a battle a clear focus, for example as stores you have to protect, capture or drive to safety. Between buildings they also narrow lanes and passages. They fit into battles from other Epic Battles periods as well.
