Product details

Background & context

The war began in April 1775 in the middle of villages, when British troops met the Massachusetts militia at Lexington and Concord. On the march back to Boston, militiamen fired on the withdrawing columns from houses and from behind walls and trees. The houses along the road became battlegrounds themselves, and individual houses were fought over in many later actions too.

On the tabletop

Use the house as an objective in a scenario where one side has to hold it and the other has to take it. Set on the edge of a village, it shelters a unit dug in inside and slows any advance along the road behind it. Since the building blocks sight, you can keep reserves behind it without exposing them straight away. It fits villages and country roads in other Epic Battles periods as well.
