Product details

Background & context

Across the American colonies, farms with large barns filled the countryside between the towns. They held hay, grain and tools, and often livestock as well. During the War of Independence, 1775 to 1783, armies passed through such farms again and again, foraging for supplies and using the buildings as shelter or as strongpoints.

On the tabletop

Place the barn at the edge of a field or beside a road to give your battlefield a clear landmark. The building blocks line of sight and forces advancing lines to pass it on one side or the other. Infantry can occupy it to hold a farmyard or a crossroads. It also finds a place on tables for other Epic Battles periods.
