    Background & context

    Die Ordnance QF 25 pounder war das Standardgeschütz der britischen Feldartillerie und stand in jedem Kriegsschauplatz des Zweiten Weltkriegs, vom Wüstensand bis nach Nordwesteuropa. Sie feuerte schnell, schlug hart zu und ließ sich mit Protze und Zugmaschine erstaunlich flott verlegen. Der allradgetriebene Quad C8 nahm dabei Bedienung und Munition gleich mit. Gespanne dieser Art prägten das Bild der britischen Artillerie bis weit über 1945 hinaus.

    On the tabletop

    Tractor, limber and gun in one pack: with the Quad C8 you bring the 25-pounder of your British army quickly into position in Bolt Action. There it is a light howitzer and, upgraded, can also fire as a light anti-tank gun. Three figures form the crew. Use the howitzer against infantry in cover and the anti-tank fire against vehicles that reach your line. The combination fits every theatre of war.
