Hintergrund & Einordnung

In the late Napoleonic era, Prussian dragoons were part of the heavy cavalry. Their role was to shake enemy lines in organized charges and exploit infantry successes. Several dragoon units were under Blücher's command during the Waterloo Campaign. The carrying of guidons visually distinguished them from many other Prussian cavalry units of the time.

Einsatz im Spiel

Prussian Dragoons serve as robust cavalry for charges against weakened formations and for exploiting tactical breakthroughs. In Black Powder, they can be deployed as a powerful cavalry force on a flank. In smaller scenarios, they provide a disciplined cavalry option for Prussian forces of the years 1813-1815.
