    Background & context

    Polen kaufte 1936 die Lizenz für die schwedische Bofors 37mm und fertigte sie als armata przeciwpancerna wz.36. Im September 1939 war sie jedem deutschen Panzer gewachsen, der auf polnischem Boden fuhr, vom Panzer I bis zu den frühen Ausführungen des Panzer IV. Das Problem war nicht die Kanone, sondern die Zahl: zu wenige Rohre an zu vielen Stellen. Erbeutete Exemplare übernahm die Wehrmacht als 3,7cm PaK 36(p).

    On the tabletop

    Against the German tanks of the September 1939 campaign, the Bofors wz.36 is the anti-tank gun of your Polish army in Bolt Action. Its 37 mm rounds can deal with the armour of the period from any angle, whether a Panzer I or an early Panzer IV, and with Soviet tanks as well. Place the gun well covered on a road or flank that vehicles have to use. Three men crew it.
