Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

A village idiot, two squabbling children, a housewife, a stern farmer, the village drunk and a proud blacksmith bring the villages on your table to life in Pike & Shotte. These villagers fight back, and in greater numbers they become an angry crowd against passing soldiers. In the English Civil War of the 1640s the Clubmen drove troops of both sides off their farms. In scenarios the figures serve as rebels, objectives or a village scene.
