Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The field surgeon, his assistant and the patient form a field hospital behind your line in Pike & Shotte, together with the set of instruments. Use the scene as a diorama, an objective or a casualty marker. The surgeon of the 17th century was a craftsman, related to the bath-house keeper and barber, and worked with saw, bullet forceps and cautery iron a few hundred paces behind the front. He suits the Thirty Years War as well as the English Civil War.
