    Background & context

    On the tabletop

This mounted commander without a fixed name leads a brigade or regiment of your army in Pike & Shotte, and two heads are included to choose from. That way he becomes an Imperial cavalry captain, a Swede or an English colonel during assembly. In the 17th century brigade and regimental commanders rode along the line and drove their men forward in person, and accordingly their loss often decided a battle. The figure is metal.
