Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

This light gun and its three crew belong between the regiments of your battle line. Gustavus Adolphus attached such pieces directly to his regiments so the infantry brought its own artillery along, and both sides copied this in the English Civil War. In Pike & Shotte it keeps pace with the line and fires hail shot into advancing blocks at short range. Painted accordingly, it suits armies of either war.
