Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

When your dragoons dismount to fight, this set shows where their horses went: four horses, a mounted horse holder and a tree stump to tie them to. In Pike & Shotte you place the group behind the dismounted unit, making it clear that it is fighting on foot and can mount up again. Historically every fourth man stayed back with the horses. Beside a hedge or position, the group also works as a scenic piece.
