    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The Panzerjäger I was the first German tank destroyer of the war: a Czech 4.7 cm anti-tank gun behind an open shield on the chassis of the outdated Panzer I Ausf. B. It was built to deal with heavy French tanks such as the Char B1, against which the 3.7 cm Pak 36 failed. In Bolt Action you fire on enemy tanks from cover, as the superstructure gives the crew little protection. It fought in France, North Africa and on the Eastern Front.
