Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

A single mounted Janissary officer gives your Ottoman army in Pike & Shotte a commander for its foot troops. Place him behind an orta or use him as a brigade commander giving orders to his units. In the field the corps' officers usually rode, including in the 17th century against the armies of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Plenty of fabric, a turban and horse harness make the metal figure a rewarding painting project.
