Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

These four command figures put leadership on an orta of your Janissaries, the Sultan's elite infantry, in Pike & Shotte. On the table they stand at the front of your unit, which takes the field with firearms and in firm order against what were often still feudal levies. The Janissaries were a standing force in the Sultan's lifelong pay and marched under Suleiman as far as Vienna. The figures are metal.
