Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Eight Janissary archers advancing with arrows already nocked give your Ottoman army in Pike & Shotte ranged fire that moves with the line. Even after firearms had become widespread, the Janissaries kept the composite bow because it shot faster than any musket of the time. You use the unit to keep up the shooting while advancing. With the firing archers you can show both standing and advancing divisions.
