    Background & context

    Flammpanzer waren in der Roten Armee der Dreißigerjahre ein eigenes Kapitel: Auf dem T-26 entstanden gleich mehrere Umbauten, die statt der Kanone ein Flammrohr trugen und den Brennstoff im Rumpf mitführten. Im Winterkrieg 1939/40 schickte die Führung diese Fahrzeuge gegen die Bunker der Mannerheim-Linie. Die Besatzungen mussten bis auf wenige Dutzend Meter heranfahren, und entsprechend viele kamen nicht zurück.

    On the tabletop

    On the OT-26 one of the two small turrets of the early T-26 was removed, and the remaining one holds a flame projector, with the fuel stored in the hull. In the Winter War of 1939/40 the Red Army sent such vehicles against the bunkers of the Mannerheim Line. In Bolt Action you drive it up to bunkers, houses and woodland positions and burn them out. It has to get very close to do so, which is where it is vulnerable, so let your infantry cover its approach.
