    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The flying ambulance of surgeon Dominique-Jean Larrey retrieves wounded men of your Grande Armée from between the lines while the fighting is still going on in Black Powder. On the table it is not a fighting unit but a scenario piece you have to protect, or a scene behind your battle line. Larrey treated the wounded by severity rather than rank, and his methods became a model for later emergency services. Cart, horse and four figures are included.
