    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    Horse artillery was designed to react quickly to changing battlefield situations. Its guns accompanied mobile units and could rapidly reinforce threatened sections. In the Prussian armies of the Napoleonic Wars, it supplemented infantry and cavalry with flexible fire support. 6-pounders were considered light field guns that combined mobility and firepower.

    The mounted 6-pounder artillery provides mobile fire support to Prussian armies. In Black Powder, it can be rapidly deployed to threatened sections and cover cavalry or infantry movements. For Sharp Practice and Sharpe's Rifles, it serves as a small, scenario-rich artillery element with a noticeable tactical impact.
